Having accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on December 24, 1982, David's career in ministry begin in 1989 when he was first licensed to preach the Gospel. At that time, he also joined the International Fellowship of Christian Magicians. He has served on staff as both Children's Pastor and Director of Youth Ministries. David has a God-given talent of sharing God's love by combining fun, mystery and excitement through the use of illusions and comedy. Striving to serve God with excellence, his performances are focused on biblical truths wrapped up in top quality entertainment. Through years of study and with direction of the Holy Spirit, David approaches his “magic show” not as an entertainer who performs a bunch of tricks but as a minister of the Gospel. These special effects have been prayerfully placed within the program that clearly communicate God’s love for the lost through His son, Jesus Christ.
David’s use of amazing illusions and exciting music, along with his professional delivery of comedy, grabs the attention of the audience the very second he steps on stage.
Over the past several years, David has taught gospel magic workshops to hundreds of children's ministry workers at over a dozen Awana Leadership Conferences throughout the Midwest.
Now pursuing God's direction to become an Associate Pastor, David is currently attending Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City as a full time student working towards his M.Div. degree.

Magician, Assistant & Puppeteer
Gayle accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior as a young child. In 2002 and 2003, she went through a personal crisis which resulted in a renewed and recommitted walk with God.
Gayle joined David in ministry when they married in 2003. In addition to acting as David’s assistant during performances, she also performs as a puppeteer and ventriloquist, bringing laughter and biblical messages through entertaining puppet characters such as Sunny, Presto, Vern, and most recently Annabella the Gorilla.
Performing as Trixie Pockets, Gayle also entertains preschoolers throughout the Kansas City area with a delightful selection of programs that keep the kids laughing while they learn.
Gayle has written and taught workshops for the purpose of training children's workers how to use puppets confidently and creatively - without having to know ventriloquism, as well as how to perform as a "puppet troupe of one" and simple balloon twisting with a Gospel message. Her workshops have been presented at multiple Awana leadership conferences throughout the Midwest since 2007, for a One Way Street Puppet Festival in 2011, and at the International FCM Conference in July 2011. In 2010, she expanded her workshop notes into a book ("Using Puppets in Children's Ministry - It's Easier Than You Think!") that includes much more material than workshop timeslots normally allow.
